What is the One word that Best Describes YOU?
by Jolene Roberts on Wednesday, November 9, 2011 at 11:37pm
Find the “core value” of who you are~the one word that is “NON-Negotiable”. Mine is “FAITH”~ “F” = for my Faith in God (Christ), in myself & in others~that my voice/my story needs to be told, so others have the opportunity to prevail against the adversities, that I have & to endure with perseverance! “A”= “Authenticity”~that others & myself will know that I speak my TRUTH without any false pretense & with total transparency. That I will be true to them & to myself. “I”=is for “Inspiration”~that by sharing my life story of overcoming overwhelming obstacles & adversities, you can be anything you dream you can be & more. My life has surpassed my childhood dreams & expectations by keeping my faith in God & in myself. It is never too late & you are never too old to achieve new goals & dream new dreams regardless of the adversities you’ve endured. “T” = is for “Tenacity” to follow through, with passion, perseverance & determination to live God’s Will & purpose for my life. So I may display to others the grace the Lord has given me & to inspire others to be the “best possible version of Who HE created them to be”! “H” = is for “Honour”~so that people will be inspired by my integrity, respect my reputation & see my character is moral, decent & noble. That my story will portray “distinction” from others, that is “unique” to who God created me to be~rising out of the ashes of years of “trials & tribulations” with new-found inner strength. Wishing you many blessings as you find your “core value” to move forward in constructive ways & achieve dreams, you never believed “imaginable”~Jolene Roberts
Dreams with Visioneering
by Jolene Roberts on Friday, July 29, 2011 at 12:44am
Our visions are messages from God, each for a different purpose in life. Consequently, one person’s vision may not be that of another. To have a vision, one must be prepared to receive it, and when it comes, to accept it. Thus when these inner urges become reality, only then can visions be fulfilled. The spiritual side of life knows everyone’s heart and who to trust. How could a vision ever be given to someone to harbor if that person could not be trusted to carry it out. We grow great by dreams. All big men are dreamers. They see things in the soft haze of a spring day or in the red fire of a long winter’s evening. Some of us let these great dreams die, but others nourish and protect them; nurse them through bad days till they bring them to the sunshine and light which comes always to those who sincerely hope that their dreams will come true. The message is simple: commitment precedes vision. We all have our own life to pursue, our own kind of dream to be weaving. And we all have some power to make wishes come true, as long as we keep believing. Every great dream begins with a dreamer. Always remember, you have within you the strength, the patience, and the passion to reach for the stars to change the world. So go out & pursue your heart & soul dreams!!
Apart from HIM, “I can do nothing”~John 15:5; “I can do all things through HIM” who strengthens me”~Phil. 4:13

My life~full of “mountain-tops & valley experiences”~love this “mission statement” via Daniel: Life is a journey traveled through many experiences and choices that we make. We are constantly leaving footprints in the sands of time that are imprints of the life we lead. Unavoidable mistakes are made on this journey but healing of the soul always follows when the heart is open to a forgiving Creator. No man, woman, or child is subject to the torments of a life poorly lived – each of us is given a task and whether that be to keep one another from falling or strive to keep ourselves from falling – in the end a life truly lived is a life serving each other and the Creator. I am not one to boast of my earthly accomplishments for they are none. Black and white. Either you will see the beauty in life via your very existence or you will focus on immediate gratification which in the end leads to only pain and sorrow. Wake up tomorrow and instead of looking in that mirror at your physical attributes recognize the gift of life that God has given you to be a living example to others around you changing this world one day at a time. ….IN the beginning…..
“Dreams are like the paints of a great artist. Your dreams are your paints, the world is your canvas. Believing, is the brush that converts your dreams into a masterpiece of reality! You are never too old to set another goal or to dream a new dream!”
~”I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”~ Phil 4:13,
~”Keep yourself in training for a godly life. Physical exercise has some value in it, but spiritual exercise is valuable in every way, because it promises life both for now and for the future.” Paul (1 Timothy 4)
~”It is not how much we do, but how much love we put in the doing. It is not how much we give, but how much love we put in the giving.” ~ Mother Theresa ~
~”The glory of God is man fully alive”! ~ St. Irenaeus
~”Narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it”. ~ Jesus of Nazareth-Matt 7:14
“If you bring forth what is within you, what you bring forth will save you. If you do not bring forth what is within you, what you do not bring forth, will destroy you” Gospel of Thomas
“Dream are illustrations..from the book your soul is writing about you.” “You are never too old to set another goal or to dream a new dream”
“A wise man should consider that health is the greatest of human blessings, and learn how by his own thought to derive benefit from his illnesses” Hippocrates 400BC
“For the love of money is the root of all evil” 1Timothy
“Your dream is the gift of your own soul but if it’s promise is to be fulfilled-you must turn your eyes from the world of men, and dare to fly among the stars. The world is not kind to dreamer-cynics & scoffers are everywhere! However, If you have a dream and your faith in it is strong, you must find the courage to move beyond those who would deny its realization. You can do it; after all we are all born with wings!”
“Every great achievement is usually born out of great sacrifice & is the victory of a “flaming heart”!!
After such a refreshing/sabbatical vacation in the sun on a beautiful Caribbean beach, I found peace, serenity & God! Inner peace is not something that happens to you as some external or future event. Inner peace exists within you right now and it will be gradually uncovered as you decide to flow and accept the events and changes that life brings. In the degree that you embrace those changes, will you have inner peace. God Bless! (Jolene Roberts)
Tears are an indication of one’s humanness, not an indication of weakness or a lack of faith. Grief reminds us that this world is not our home; that we are just passing through. Only people who avoid love can avoid grief. The point is to learn from it and remain vulnerable to love! (Jolene Roberts)
“There comes a time in your life, when you walk away from all the drama and people who create it. You surround yourself with people who make you laugh. Forget the bad, and focus on the good. Love the people who treat you right, pray for the ones who don’t. Life is too short to be anything but happy. Falling down is a part of life, getting back up is “LIVING”. “The Glory of God is man fully alive”!
My message this day is simple…Since God is GOOD, so shall my day be GOOD! Say aloud right now that this day shall be GOOD!
Regardless of what before or even now befalls-
-command your thoughts & steps to being GOOD..
For as your mind sees you walk towards that which you desire,
Then so shall you GET THERE~LET’S GET THERE!! (Jolene Roberts)
Lord, remind me how brief my time on earth will be. Remind me that my days are numbered—how fleeting my life is. Psalm 39:4 NLT~Treasure the moments of your life!
I am fascinated by the human body! I see my body as something sacred (temple of the HOLY SPIRIT); that I nurture each day, like a science experiment. It amazes me how the body responds to what you put into it. Once you listen closely to what your body is telling you, you will notice how it responds to the amount (and type) of food, exercise and rest that you give it. We treat our houses, cars, possessions with more care than our bodies~remember you are only given one body in our lifetime~treat it with respect & care! (Jolene Roberts)
Breakdown of the “old”~is always, always an “opportunity” for something far more beautifully new to be born! You can make that opportunity “real”…if you choose! So be bold & take that first step!
AWAKENING~I’m convinced more of us would like to be known by Faith, but resist the tedious journey of being faithful~Unleash the Faithful! (Jolene Roberts)
“HONESTY”~pleases God! If you lie to others, no matter how small or insignificant the lie is~eventually you will be exposed (Matt 10:26)! Character counts, but we often fail to make the connection between character and conduct.
Disenchantment, whether it is a minor disappointment or a major shock, is the signal that things are moving into transition in our lives. Hope is tomorrow’s veneer over today’s disappointment. When you say a situation or a person is hopeless, you are slamming the door in the face of God. (Jolene Roberts)
Authenticating your vision~God is at work behind the scenes preparing the way. Visions are often born in the soul of a man or woman who is gripped by a tension between what is and what should be. A God-ordained vision will eventually feel like a “moral imperative”. A God-ordained vision will be in line with what God is up to in the world! (Jolene Roberts)
Let your conduct be without covetousness; be content with such things as you have. For He Himself has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.”
-Hebrews 13:5 (NKJV)
Crystallize your goals~make a plan for achieving them~set a deadline. With supreme confidence, determination & disregard for obstacles carry out your plan. Everyone who achieves success in great ventures, solves each problem as it arises! Formulate and stamp indelibly on your mind a mental picture of yourself as succeeding & hold this picture tenaciously. Never permit it to fade. By prevailing over all obstacles and distractions, one unfailingly arrives at their chosen goal or destination! (Jolene Roberts)
A true friend doesn’t care when you’re broke, if you’re miserable, about your house or your car, about your past, or who your family is! Your conversations pick up where they left off, even if they’ve been months apart. They love you~for who you are~through good times & bad! “Friends are angels who lift our feet when our own wings have trouble remembering how to fly”~so blessed to have “true” friends!
LIVING MEASURES OF STRENGTH
Standing taller than the obstacles and barriers endured..
Always emerging bigger and brighter, than the darkened clouds that sometimes descend..
Smiling proud, forever gracious..
And humility cloaking the effortless way she manages to continually inspire..
We applaud a living, true measure of continuous strength..
When I have been on the edge & looking down~what did I see “darkness & uncertainty” but when I looked up & forward~I saw everything! (Jolene Roberts)
If you surrender to the wind, you can ride it. Give thanks for what you are now, and keep fighting for what you want to be tomorrow. Whatever we worship, short of God, is sure to be our undoing. Promise only what you can deliver. Then deliver more than you promise. (Jolene Roberts)
Breakdown of the “old”~is always, always an “opportunity” for something far more beautifully new to be born! You can make that opportunity “real”…if you choose! So be bold & take that first step! (Jolene Roberts)
Let your conduct be without covetousness; be content with such things as you have. For He Himself has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.” -Hebrews 13:5 (NKJV)
Occasionally in life there are those moments of unutterable fulfillment which cannot be completely explained by those symbols called words. Their meanings can only be articulated by the inaudible language of the heart. (Jolene Roberts)
The hardest part about growing is letting go of what you were used to, and moving on with something you’re not. Sometimes you have to stop worrying, wondering, and doubting, and have faith that things will work out. Laugh at the confusion, live consciously in the moment, and enjoy your life as it unfolds. You might not end up exactly where you intended to go, but eventually you will arrive precisely where you need to be.
